Intermission Chat

If "all the world's a stage" then sometimes we need an INTERMISSION. We need a time to stop, to reflect upon the script, to evaluate our part in the play, to consider the bigger picture, to reconnect with the Author and with the other players. This is the essence of our Tuesday night gathering. This blog is a virtual extension of our ongoing spiritual conversation. Everyone is invited to bring something to the table – a word, a song, an expression, or just silence.

Urban Poetry, part 2

I don't think I can top that last post - which is absolutely beyond words - but I thought I could expand on my both literal and visual thoughts from a week or so ago:

Where the "spirit cruises" from "nonstop to nonstop" there is:

Let's keep moving, as spread out as we all are, and in all that we do. (Even if that's dancing in a pink tutu, Nate!)

"The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."
John 3:8

Hoist your sails - catch the wind that propels us without ceasing from non-stop to non-stop! Those who are blown by the wild, untamable, unpredicatable wind of God's Spirit "you cannot tell where [they come] from or where [they are] going." Give up the predictability of normalicy and catch the wind!
